Facts Seventh-Day Adventi...

Seventh-day Adventists won't tell you they are behind the "Revelation Seminars" they sponsor. They act all" interdenominational" if questioned. Watch out for these SDA outreaches as well: Voice of Prophecy, Faith for Today, It is Written, The Quiet Hour, Amazing Facts etc. They also hide behind Heath oriented shows on the networks, and sponsor stop-smoking clinics etc, all as introductions to Seventh-day Adventism.

"Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband."

Eternal Security…Yo...

A born-again believer does NOT convert to the Mormon faith or become an atheist. When a man claims that he "used to be a Christian," but now has become a Jehovah's Witness or Seventh Day Adventist, he's a liar. He never was a Jesus Christian to begin with. He may have once had the philosophy of Christianity, or the organization of Christianity; but he never had genuine Christianity, which is found by faith inChrist alone.

Was Jesus a Vegetarian?

Was Jesus a Vegetarian?

by Jeffrey W. Hamilton

On March 17, 1999 the Omaha World Herald reprinted a hilarious article by Bill Broadway of the Washington Post. It seems the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have launched a campaign to claim that Jesus was a vegetarian. Billboards stating “Jesus was a vegetarian. Show respect for God’s creatures – follow Him” are being placed around the country.

Questions answered by the Bible

1. Will we recognize our family  once we are in Heaven? Will we know our our spouse and children?

M. London-Springfield,Oregon

We will certainly know all of our loved ones.  We will even know Jesus.  1 Corinthians 13:12  “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”  1 John 3:2  “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”

Here we see two statements that we will know even as also we are known.  In that statement we will not only know Jesus when we see him but we will know our loved ones.  In fact, in speaking about the rapture, Jesus promises that he will bring our loved ones with him to meet us when we are caught up, if we still remain at the coming of the Lord.

Is Seventh Day Adventism Orthodox or Cult?

Seventh-Day Adventism

Orthodox or Cult?*

Seventh-Day Adventism (SDA) arose from the aftermath of the Adventist movement of the mid-1800s. “Seventh-day” refers to the focus on sabbath, or Saturday worship. “Adventist” refers to the SDA belief that they are the fulfillment of prophecies pertaining to the latter days remnant and the coming of Christ. The world was predicted to end in 1844 with the Second Coming of Christ, by William Miller, a New England Baptist itinerant preacher. Miller’s followers condemned all the churches of the day as apostate and “Babylon,” and warned Christians to come out of them. A great many did, and the “adventist” movement was born and grew rapidly (Melton, J. Gordon, Encyclopedia of American Religions, Vol. 2, pp. 21–22).

Christ did not appear in 1844. After this “Great Disappointment,” one “little flock” still insisted the date of their original predictions had been correct. They decided the event marked by 1844 was not the Second Coming, but the entrance of Christ into the Holy of Holies in the Heavenly Sanctuary. There, they said, He began the “Investigative Judgment.” (See #6 below.) This doctrine was received and endorsed by Ellen G. White (Ibid., p. 680).

Granola with raisins, nuts and fruits….for protein and fiber.

Dietitian’s tip: Granola is a cereal-like combination of dried fruits, grains and nuts. Though it’s a good source of protein and fiber, granola can also be high in fat and calories, especially the store-bought varieties. Watch your portion sizes or create your own granola to limit the amount of fat, calories and sugar in each serving.

Facts Seventh-day Adventists Won’t Tell You

Seventh-day Adventists won’t tell you they are behind the “Revelation Seminars” they sponsor. They act all” interdenominational” if questioned.

Often, the only tip-off that what you are reading originates with them is that it is published by “Pacific Press”. They produce bright and colorful Children’s books, often seen in medical and dental offices, and of course, unsuspecting Church libraries.

They very much want to be perceived as Evangelical Christians, seeking a place on the ministerial fellowships. All this is good PR for them, but what do they really believe?

What facts won’t they tell you?

They won’t tell you that they consider themselves to be the only, true, remnant Church. Their prophetess, Ellen G. White, whom they revere and believe without question has told them that

“…Satan has taken full possession of the Churches”. (Spiritual Gifts V.l,p.189-90) They also believe our prayers are an “abomination” to God. (Spiritual Gifts, V1 p.190).

That is what they think of you and your church, even if they won’t say it out loud in public, or to your face.

Eternal Security…You Cannot Lose your Salvation!!

Eternal Security

You CANNOT lose your salvation!

by David J. Stewart

Eternal Security is the Biblical doctrine that a believer CANNOT lose salvation in Christ Jesus. I recently spoke with a Church of Christ minister who believed that a Christian could LOSE their salvation by failing to maintain a “relationship” with God. Of course, that is a lie of the Devil. The Charismatic are also plagued with this false belief that a person can lose their salvation. The Bible teaches, If Saved, Always Saved.

Norma Duty’s Banana Pudding….Delicious!

This is the best Mother in the World. By her example I saw Jesus’s kind and loving ways daily. She was happy to be a homemaker her whole life. She sewed for others to bring in some money to help out and  my dad was a honored disabled veteran who adored her. She was born in Grand Cayman, her maiden name Creighton,  and went to America when she married her sailor husband. They had six children who all praise her for her stand on the righteousness of God. She helped start two large Baptist churches in this area. What a great cook she was. Below is a yummy dessert that I remember her making us almost every Sunday. Our dad’s favorite. She was indeed a Proverb mother who feared God and is praised by all  her children. She is greatly missed.
